Starline Overseas is the international transportation and move management subsidiary of the Highstar Group of Companies and is a rarity in today's moving world. We have been under the same family ownership for 70 years. Peter Kachur started a one truck cartage company in 1938 called Jim's Express and Transfer. Since that time the Kachur family has expanded the company to be one of the most respected moving companies in Canada.

Today, the Highstar Group of Companies is owned and operated by Don Kachur, the son of the company's founder. Don is active in the day to day operations of the company as well as being deeply involved in industry affairs. He has served on the Board of Directors for both United Van Lines and the Canadian Association of Movers. Don's son Casey manages our Calgary branch and represents the third generation.

Starline Overseas has been operating since 1982 and after 25 years of business the Starline name has become well known in the international community with a global alliance of quality international movers. Starline is affiliated with FIDI, the world's premier international moving network and is a member of HHGFAA, Household Goods Forwarders Association of America.
